Having been with MEKRA for 13 years, I can say that my employer offers me an ideal work environment and the best development opportunities.

To prepare for my career, I started training as an administrative assistant, followed by additional schooling as a management assistant.
Since 2004, I have been a member of the MEKRA family, first as an assistant to management and now - after having gone through leadership development programs specifically for women and additional training in business management – as office manager.

One of the things that make MEKRA Lang such an attractive employer is that fostering a family-friendly environment is not simply part of personnel policy, but something the company is passionately committed to. From the very beginning, I was able to be involved in projects like the opening of the "Frieda Lang Haus für Kinder gGmbH" child care center or the establishment of our elementary school.

Now that I am a mother of two, I benefit from these projects just like many other employees. After I returned from parental leave, I was able to continue in my management position part-time.
