In 2013, I started my training as a physics lab technician at MEKRA Lang. I was integrated into the team right away and accepted and supported by all my colleagues. I had a lot of input in decisions about my training, for instance my rotation through the different departments or the company time I spent on studying for my intermediate and final exams. My training was structured so that I was able to acquire a broad spectrum of knowledge which now helps me every day in my work at MEKRA Lang.
After I completed my training, I was offered a job at MEKRA right away and am now working in Testing and Computation. In this area, I am responsible for preparing, performing and documenting laboratory tests. This brings with it new challenges almost every day and makes work very interesting.
By going together to events outside of work - go-karting for instance - we have developed a great team spirit in our department, and we will continue this tradition.
MEKRA has always supported me fully when it comes to training and continuing education. I am already planning an integrated degree study program in the company with the full support of my managers and colleagues.
