On Saturday, October 8th, 2016 a trainee exchange was held in Neustadt an der Aisch. This training placement exchange is designed to help young people find out more about different career paths and to network with companies providing training in the county.
MEKRA Lang was represented with a booth as well. Supported by our advisors, our own trainees represented the various vocational training programs offered by MEKRA Lang. Thanks to the hard work of both the trainees and the trainers, we were able to set up our booth in no time. The training exchange started around 9.30 am and our trainees had to jump right in to answer the many questions our young visitors had. In an easy-going and open-minded way, our trainees provided interested youth with excellent insights into the realities of vocational training. Visitors really like these kinds of conversations, as it is often easier to talk with one's peers rather than with adults.
The training exchange is a very important event for us because we can draw attention to the many training opportunities offered by our company. All of us who took part in this event had a wonderful time and lots of fun.
