For our visitors on 12.02.2019 from Marktbreit High School (Gymnasium) the focus was on using modern camera technology in commercial vehicles and its importance for traffic safety and accident prevention.
After their arrival in Ergersheim, Mrs. Paal welcomed the eighth graders with an overview of the company’s history and used our image video to give them an idea of what MEKRA Lang is all about.
Afterwards, Mr. Bauman gave the members of the Junior Engineer Academy a basic introduction into camera systems in commercial vehicles to provide them with some “insight” into the subject matter and lay the foundation for what was to follow, i.e. the truck simulator, the VR glasses, and a ride on the vision truck to the roundabout outside Bad Windsheim.
To round things off, the young visitors and their teachers were taken on a short tour of our production facility.
We hope that we were able to provide students and teachers with valuable information about the world of camera systems in commercial vehicles and an enjoyable day. We wish them all the best for the future and a lot of fun with their project.
