FOR THE LOVE OF MUSIC "Genuine" Bohemian - Eight Tyrolean thoroughbred musicians as guests in Ergersheim

As part of the "Culture Weeks" at MEKRA Lang, a concert with the top musicians "Echt" Böhmisch from Tyrol took place last weekend, organized and performed by the Ergersheim brass band.

"Echt" Böhmisch - these are eight thoroughbred musicians, from music students to music teachers to experienced top musicians, who came together to form the ensemble in 2012. Their passion is Bohemian brass music, which, however, is always supplemented with music from other genres, depending on the occasion. And it is exactly this mixture that makes the ensemble so special. Profound musical education combines with "Echt" Bohemian with many years of stage experience!

Finally again, yes finally again many surely thought that again concerts can take place - so the welcome began.

After two postponements Hermann Kiesenbauer, chairman of the brass band Ergersheim could welcome nearly 300 guests and friends of the bohemian in the MEKRA Lang canteen. Heartfelt thanks went to the Lang family, who were present, for providing the canteen and for their support in organizing it as part of the 90th anniversary celebrations.

With great skill and enormous commitment, the musicians delighted the audience in the four-hour program with classics and numerous original compositions. Spontaneously the request of the musicians to the dance was followed, to which it gave for the first pairs a CD as gift.

A versatile program with own arrangements like an ABBA medley or Sir Duke by Stevie Wonder but also classics like "Auf der Vogelwiese, Böhmischer Traum, Südböhmische Polka" and rarities like "Liebling ich hab' dich Tanzen seh'n" was honored by the audience with long lasting applause and standing ovations.

The program was rounded off by an exhibition of highly distinguished instruments and expert advice from the company Instrumentenbau Karl Scherzer/Altendettelsau as well as an exchange of information with Rudolf Meinl/Diespeck.

The summary: for the brass band Ergersheim as well as for the celebrated musicians it was a very successful evening, which was sealed with the words of the musicians "we will gladly come again"!
