Lecture Value Chain Management

"If you have enough time, you can safely stay at home - everyone else will be helped".

Under this somewhat provocative heading, a lecture was held at MEKRA Lang on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, by Dr. -Ing. Prause, who has lived value-added management in practice for many years in well-known industrial companies and corporations and achieved great success with it.

Dr. Prause proved that a top-class lecture does not have to be theoretical and soporific with his opening question: "What are companies for? The evening was very interactive and entertainingly instructive, and the 50 or so listeners were captivated from start to finish by the practical examples of the supposedly dry topic of "value creation management".

The founder and chairman of the board of the "Institut für Produktionserhaltung e.V." and lecturer at the Ansbach University of Applied Sciences illustrated, among other things, how production companies in the high-wage country of Germany can continue to add value, how waste in the form of unnecessary uneconomical use of resources (capacity, working time, qualification, etc.) can be avoided or minimized, and how the lean idea can also be successfully implemented in administrative areas and contribute to the added value of the entire company.

The gripping presentation was followed by a lively discussion and the audience took home many ideas and certainly also a lot of motivation to tackle the topics addressed in their own environment and thus create more added value.
