MEKRA shares in Nanchang to be sold

MEKRA Lang GmbH & Co. KG, the leading global manufacturer of vision systems for the commercial vehicle market, announces it will sell its shares in Nanchang JMCG Mekra Lang Vehicle Mirror Co., Ltd, a joint venture with JMCG (Jiangling Motors Corporation Group) that manufactures rearview mirrors for passenger cars, SUVs and light commercial vehicles for the Chinese market. The sale will be completed by the end of this year, subject to regulatory approval. Following the already completed sale of the shares in Changchun FAWAY Vehicle Mirror System Co., Ltd. (formerly Changchun MEKRA Lang FAWAY Vehicle Mirror Co., Ltd.) in the middle of this year, this is a further step towards focusing on the core sales markets in the commercial vehicle sector.

MEKRA Lang is thus strengthening its expertise in a market segment in which the company is known as a hidden champion and innovation driver and is highly regarded by its customers.
